The set of rubber roller wrapping sanding conveyor belt has two parts: the rubber intestine is plastic core or metal with air pump valve, the rubber part is an inflatable seal which is manufactured separately.
Rubber inflatable seal is usually produced by molding technology. Rubber after the heat fixation by metal mold will be vulcanized, passed through the mechanical check phase and will become product if it meets all requirements.
When assembling into a set, the rubber roller is pumped air, wrapped a sanding conveyor belt outside and rotates making the sanding conveyor belt work continuously. Therefore, the rubber is not only pneumatic but also continuously abrasive due to sanding. Commonly, the best rubber material which is chosen is NBR rubber because of two following good factors: appropriate mechanical properties and low cost.
